I got the red one with a black headstock and 3 single coil pick ups. I got this guitar for a great price the other day and I'm looking to find more information
I have a series A 335 guitar and is the best sounding guitar that I ever played ........the action is nothing but amazing ........
I also have a number of other guitars including a Gretsch Country Gentleman and two other Gibson 335's and the series A is the best of them all ........

The top white one was my 2Nd guitar. Played slick and fast. The only reason I sold it was I didn't know how to replace pickups at the time. I found them to be a bit flimsy. I should have kept it.
Hey guys I bought a series a the other day. Looks like a jackson warrior kinda. How would I go about tightening the tremolo or fixing the bridge w.e. it's a great guitar but the tuning is way to sensitive and goes way out when the bridge moves... lol thanks guys!
Since it's not an expensive guitar, sometimes the easy way to fix it is to block the trem or to replace it. I've tried many times to just mine or to get the guitar to a qualified tech, but at the end, to was still "not a fender" .. lol
Sometimes changing the tuning keys helps a lot too
`1: stretch your strings properly. 2: lubricate your nut slots with a mixture of graphite powder and regular Vaseline. You only need a tiny bit. Wipe away any excess with a tissue. 3: check and tighten your neck plate bolts firmly. No shifting is the goal. 4: Blocking the trem is easy. And yes, better tuners are always good, but the ones on my Series A 335 are great.Look to be Schaller copies. No idea if they are stock.
I picked up a "Strat" version of the Series A for $20 this week. It has a "Select Designed by EMG" in the bridge position and a mini toggle switch next to the 5-way. I haven't tested it yet but I assume the toggle splits the "EMG".
Hey all, I just picked up a Series A SSS and it's pretty darn nice! 50$ for the guitar and 50$ a professional setup went a long ways! So what's the deal with these guitars anyhow? Some say MIC, others say MIK. Please tell me what the general consensus is.
HELP ME !! I'm in a desesparate research of a Floyd Rose MFG !!! My Serie A is in a bad day's . I found an axe to change but the floyd is broken too . I trying really hard to find it and put ma guitar on the road !!

I have the silver HSS, neck plays very well. Just slapped a floyd on it, too much fun!

RépondreEffacerI'm not sure how many of the black lefty HSS were made but I own that exact model. It's probably one of the best guitars I've ever played.
